Originally the client had a label that wrapped both the front and the back of the seed bar. The seed bars are in a clear wrapping and look very yummy, so the Label-it design team proposed a special die shape that would expose as much of the product as possible, whilst still maintaining the brand identity.
The old label had a gloss UV varnish. Matt lamination was selected to finish off the label as it promotes the “green“nature of the product as well as having a luxurious texture.
The label was printed digitally as there are currently 6 variants in the range and the client likes the flexibility of the digital process, as the design or ingredients can change without incurring additional plate costs.
